At Vidhyavruksha we strongly believe in building a students’ future not only through academics but the need for an holistic personality development that mould them to be prepared for a competitive future.

Last October, we launched a pilot batch of Vidhaigal with our 2nd school, Sivananda Matriculation Higher Secondary School. The school is an unit of the Sivananda Saraswathi Sevasharam, a non profit organisation with a primary objective of protecting orphans, destitute women, the physically handicapped and the uncared elderly parents. The school was started in 2002 and already has close to 1900 students from LKG to XII and they offer quality education for all kids from rural villages in and around Kattangulathur.

Today we are immensely happy to have concluded this pilot batch and helped up skill 26 boys of standard IX at this school.

We thank our trainer Ms. Srilatha, who has been a core pillar of our project. We also thank the school’s Management for believing in us and were instrumental in championing this program at their school.
