Time and again when we had raised a request to assist a family afford education for their child, the main reason for their financial constrains has and continues to be Covid.
Namratha Hegde comes from one such family of meagre means. Her father runs a small eatery in the town of Kumta and her mother tries to make a livelihood selling condiments and provisions in Bangalore. Namratha is pursuing her final year of BDS in Sri Venkateshwara Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore. She had reached out to us in May, 2021 as a pre-emptive measure to aid her college tuition fees of Rs 2,00,000.
We had been extremely fortunate that a group of like-minded individuals from Bangalore raised a sum of Rs 1,00,000 and helped Namratha pay half the fee requirements. But there is still halfway to go and the sum continues to remain daunting. So, we reach out to you to aid us help Namratha to complete this last leg of her academic journey. Click here to donate
