Alex is a Srilankan Tamil student studying in Loyala college. We first met Alex when we went to Loyala to help with ration kits distribution for the needy. He volunteered with us as a part of our relief team last year and we heard from him that he was stuck at the college while all other students have vacated the hostel to go back to their home.

Our good friend and Samaritan Paul Pradeep then approached Vidhyavruksha Foundation for help, and help we did. We took care of his meals and hostel expenses until travel opened up and also sponsored his Visa.

Alex has now reached his home town in Srilanka safely. He completed his quarantine and sent us this video which brought smile happiness and tears all at the same time. We are happy to have helped people in distress and are even glad to have met people like Alex in our journey of life.
