One of the most difficult things we face is while validating requirements, talking to families as they brief us their horrendous time dealing with the pandemic and how it has impacted their life.

One such incident is meeting Mr. M.Natrajan and family, his only son Navaneethan studying Xth in Vellamal Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Mr.Natrajan works as a custodian for a couple of flower shops in Koyambedu and has been severely impacted due to the lockdown when the market was closed due to pandemic. His wife is also ailing from a chronic disease and he was not able to spare any finances for his son’s education.

Thanks to Social media and advanced networking, Vidhyavruksha Foundation was tagged in a post from the requestor Malar Jeeva Rathinam another avid social worker and good Samaritan.

We are now working together to collect Rs. 46,050/- for the academic year 2021-2022. This is another critical requirement where Navaneethan in his Xth will not have access to books and online classes if the fees is not paid on time.
