Last year we happened to visit Varsha and Gajalakshmi’s parents who had reached out to us seeking help to aid the education of their daughters. Varsha was pursuing Bsc.Maths IInd year and her younger sister was in Class XII

Their parents are going through an economic turmoil ever since the father was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis is bed ridden. He lost his job and they now try to survive by packaging edibles to local street tea and bunk shops.

At a crucial stage, we have helped Gajalakshmi get into college after her XIIth std this year and are pleased to have been able to pay her first semester fees of Rs. 28,415/- at CTTE College for Women. We are looking for a sponsor to support her fee requirements in full or in part under our Ezhuthukkal program.

We continue to strive hard to help students get their basic education so that with education their social and economic conditions could improve and that they could possibly dream for a basic lifestyle that they should have had long time ago.
